Yes! It is a huge problem for you, as a sprinter. As a sprinter, most of your speed comes from your calf muscle. If you have any tips, the points are in front of the boot where the calf muscle is needed most. So you need your toes to get as close as possible to the front of the shoe in order to use all your strength in the calf. So you might even need to make 2 sizes too small. If you use of heavy boots, you will be running from heel to toe or from the middle of your foot. And for those sprinters, every second counts. Bigger shoes may cause Shin splints (This is a pain in the shin caused by muscle pull from the bone. It hurts just as bad as it sounds)
